Nostalgia of Campus Life (Food Study)

Finally, I am in the count-down period of my campus life.

Looking through the photos in the folder - campus life. Indeed, there are bunch of memories. It's fate to let all of us met, guys, cherish it. Do I? Yes I do.

Sometimes, I'd complain, about my boredom in campus, about my lacking of interest in the studies...But according to my friends, "You are the one who complained the most but enjoyed the most!" Try to ponder to it, was I? Am I? Flashing back, it was wonderful.

Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner

Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner with dear coursemates.

It's more to a friends gathering rather than an eating out. The excitement fumed around...in the end, we were turned into the Jay-Customer, disturbing other people. It's totally a havoc in the restaurant.
Ordinary foods, with extraordinary people around...
Almost each and everyone of us roamed around, with the flashing of spot-light and heavenly know laughter...Imagine, we brought the youngest cheers in the Moon Palace!

Rest in Peace

I didn't get to contact him that often, even though in the end of his life.

He used to be one of my closest coursemates. Playing badminton was our leisure activity to kill time. We used to be a team - the clown team (the team was constituted with few LAN-LEK members)... He was always the one bringing the joy and laughter to us.

As time passed, he became matured. He has never showed his weakness and pain in front of us (at least in my memory, he has not). He was always showing the strongest side even though deep in his heart, he was not.

In my memory, he is a sunny boy with the brightest smile, bringing all the sunshine and joy to people surrounding. He always is.

Rest in peace, Chean Voon. You remain in our memory, ever ever after.

Gathering and Fun among Coursemates

The last past week was just...wow, it has passed! so fast!

Too many things to be done in a single day. Enjoyment, assignment, tasks, projects...Anyway, it was rewarded despite the sore body after the long hours of brain juice squeezing and depletion of physical energy.

It was fun. We have class, we have discussion, we have fun outside, we have lab, we have gathering... Coursemates greenbox gathering! Happy birthday to Penny!

Gathering

Spending the whole night in the msn chat room with few secondary school mates...discussing about the cny gathering. Seasonal festival is always a golden time for meeting up with friends, especially those losing contact for quite some time ones. So since the biggest and joyous festival is coming (at least for me), shouldn't we grab this opportunity to catch up with each other's life?

Indeed, organize it involves tons of communication. Anyway, i believe words do spread. Those who have the will to meet all sure turn up...For those rather hide up, i have to give my hands off...Somehow, some may think this kind of gathering is quite silly and meaningless...meet up each other, so what? getting to know each other's life, so what? chatting and laughing about the crazy historical events done together, so what? There are so many so-what excuses...yet isn't it part of our life? We cannot live without history, although we are told to leave behind those happened and look forward. Friends are the gifts in our life. No man is an island, okay?

Really looking forward to see u guys back there!

Wetland Park

It was a fine sunday after the all day long drizzling on saturday.
Today i thought i was going to spend my day like a bona fide couch potato who does anything more strenuous than sitting in front of the laptop to type a blog. My spirit comes after msn-ing with Ben. Really have to do SOMETHING since we both have the idea to do online business.

In order to buy a tool book, i have to go MPH. Thanks CH, i reached Alamanda for the first time, bought the book i wanted. Most unexpectedly, i got an eye epening session on the well planned landscape of putrajaya. I must say, it was a beautiful city!

Coming to the wetland park. It was a nature park for the purpose of conservation of flora and fauna. A well organized park. Look out tower, reminded me of the Tanjung Piai when we were having trip at Kukup. The Flamingo Pond, it's so beautiful although no flamingo was seen. This is really a great place to spend the sunday evening, relax yet keep close to the nature! However, there was no one to be seen except the maintenance workers in the park......sigh......do Malaysians like shopping mall so much more?

This kind of nature, we should appreciate.

Today, almost spending the whole first day of 2009 with ST. Thanks to her, i have a scrumptious dinner with her. Herbal chicken soup with rice.

Au revoir, ma vacances

So my fifth semester break is coming to the end...

Let's flash those beautiful moments during the wonderful ending of 2009.

My holidays started with the fun trip to kuantan and kuala terengganu. Thanks to ST and SW, both of u are the great hosts! Besides the beautiful scenery, we have better understanding among the participated couse-mates. Unforgetable happly moments were weaved.

Time to face to reality, money is always not enough. As usual, i was going to work. As DutchLady 'MerryLand' station master. Well, it was boring yet i gained something in the 12days. A good experience by the way!

My dear cousins FINALLY got married! haha! This is my first time to be the sisters of wedding.

Followed by few baking gathering with friends...Hanging out yamcha at night...Shopping at The Summit, BPMall, movie...Blah blah blah...

In a very last minute decision, went to Singapore. Thanks to Alvin, i learnt something new in photographing...wish my skill can keep on improving...hehe! I shall say: Singapore is a beautiful place! Nice to visit, nice to CYCLE AROUND! haha!

Then, Christmas gathering at aunt's house at Skudai. Due to the unexpected problem of the car, we were having the unexpected stay at kulai. Took few pictures at uncle's garden...

Wow...great huh? At least i have no regrets during this holidays. Looking forward to more fun!

bread baker

Recently have been keen in making bread.

Yes, it is BREAD. I have been intending to try on the home-made bread since one year ago. Finally in this holiday, i worked it out! My first trial was the sweet bun without any filling. It turned out not bad, at least for a first timer (according to my mum). Well, the good beginning injected motivation into me.

I kept on trying, pandan bun, peanut butter bun, and the most recent peanut sweet bun. The buns are tough, not that kind of soft and fluffy which some of u might think. But the taste is there, only the texture, might need some improvement.

I try to figure out the reason. Searching online, finding different recipe, asking around for suggestion...still have no a better idea...

anyone, welcome any suggestion for making softer bread.

Kuantan Trip (Day 2)

Today, there was a delay in the departure time to Sungai Lembing. You know, those Mahjong addictors turned to bed at about 2am in the morning, how could you expect them to awake on time at 4.15am?

After wolfing down a simple breakfast (one slice of super size wholemeal bread), we got on to the bas sekolah again. All of us were so excited, although we were late...anyway, our excitement has turned to a big shock as the bus screeched to a sudden halt!

The bus has broken down...what to do? in the middle of the kampung road, in the dark before the dawn..do something, call someone...well, the person came to our saviour was xingting's darling! After getting the call from his sweetheart, he straight away drove to our salvation! Thanks to him, our long anticipated mountain climbing plan can be safe from cancellation from our schedule!

It was hard at first, since everyone was still in the depression after so many problems occured. Anyway, we have managed to reach the peak in about one and a half hour. It was not really hard, to some, it was just the daily warming up exercise! Well, the reaching at the top excited us a lot! taking pictures, chatting for fun...

Again, i would say the clouds was my favourite scene!

Then, Lembing noodles is something which cannot be missed by any mountain trackers!

Wonderful Kuantan Trip (day 1)

allow me to shout 'MERDEKA' for 3 times, in order to celebrate the finishing of my 5th semester! After the torturing5 papers in 5 days, all of our coursemates have suffered for a life which not fit to be called as "life" ! With promises, i am going to enjoy!

Mid-autumn Celebration

I thought i have to spend my mid-autumn alone with the high pile of notes for the first time, for which this festival is supposed to be a reunion of family and friends.
